Meet Dr. Amin

Dr. Amin is a board-certified psychiatrist with a passion for evidence-based, patient-centered care that blends modern medicine, therapy, and personalized treatment planning. Originally from Oklahoma, he completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Texas at Austin and medical training at the Medical University of Silesia, followed by a psychiatry residency at the University of Florida. Since 2015, he has practiced psychiatry in diverse clinical settings across multiple states and currently serves as Medical Director for several facilities. Dr. Amin holds active medical licenses in Tennessee, Oklahoma, Michigan, North Dakota, and Iowa—reflecting his broad expertise and dedication to improving access to mental health care nationwide. He believes in a collaborative model of care, working closely with Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants to enhance patient outcomes and reach underserved communities. A firm believer in continuing education, clinical research, and shared decision-making, Dr. Amin aligns closely with the vision of Pure Psychiatry to deliver thoughtful, individualized mental health care. Outside of medicine, he enjoys running, hiking, playing sports, and traveling, embracing a balanced lifestyle he encourages in his patients.
